We are committed to using natural ingredients and traditional methods, which is why Phillippa's breads, pastries and provisions have become one of Melbourne's best-known brands. You will find our products in leading food stores, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants throughout Victoria.
Demand for our bread meant we quickly outgrew our original Armadale bakery, which is now a successful cafe and retail store showcasing Phillippa's products. In 1999, we opened a 465-square-metre wholesale bakery at 57 Crown Street, Richmond, which supplies breads, pastries and other provisions, including chocolate truffles, dukka, muesli and spiced nuts, to almost 400 outlets around the country. But we have refused to compromise on the labour-intensive methods we adopted when the company began in 1993.
Although our bread is distributed only in Victoria, our hand-crafted provisions can be found in outlets as far afield as Alice Springs, Cairns, Launceston, Port Augusta, Sydney and Tamworth.

Credit notes
Unsatisfactory product must be returned for a credit to be provided and/or replaced. Our production manager needs to see the product so that we can ensure the problem does not occur again. Delivery
Phillippa's does its best to ensure that your order arrives in the best possible condition, at the correct delivery address and at the correct time.
As a supplier, we need a secure and dry place where we can deliver the goods. If this is not possible, we need you to provide a key or alternate delivery instructions. Many customers provide us with keys so the driver can deliver bread inside, where it will not be stolen or damaged. The keys are stored at our bakery and the delivery driver collects them every morning. They are then returned to the bakery when the driver finishes his run each morning. If no one available to receive the goods and we have no key, the goods will be left at a designated place according to your instructions. However, we cannot be held responsible for goods that are subsequently stolen, damaged by rain, dogs, birds etc. Nor can we replace them. If the goods were not able to be left in a secured area and have to come back to Phillippa's as we have received no other instructions from you, we will pass on the cost of the trip back to Phillippa's. Phillippa's may be able to arrange redelivery but there would be a delivery charge.
Deliveries left by customer request in specified areas are the responsibility of the customer. Any discrepancies or feedback regarding your order must be reported on the day of the delivery otherwise it is accepted that the goods were received and in good order as invoiced. Orders outside our CBD delivery territory will incur a delivery fee. A minimum delivery fee of $4.00 + GST will be charged on orders under $50.00 or outside our sub-contracted courier territory. To be a Phillippa's wholesale customer you will spend a minimum of $250.00 per week.
Packaging of goods
Phillippa's aims to be environmentally responsible, with the packaging of large bread and pastry orders in reusable plastic crates. Your bread orders may arrive in bread crates that will be required to be left out so that our delivery drivers can collect them the following morning. If the number collected does not match the number delivered, a crate charge will be added to your next invoice.
