Welcome to Phillippa's Breads, Pastries and Provisions
Using the best quality natural ingredients and family recipes, Phillippa's specialises in producing and selling products that are no longer regularly made in the home, keeping alive the art of pastry, bread and preserve making.

Phillippa's opened a second bakery, at 608 Hampton Street, Brighton, in February 2006.

The new store offers Phillippa's most popular breads baked on the premises using time-honoured methods and the best ingredients available.

Early birds can catch their favourite loaf warm from the oven - Phillippa's Brighton Bakery opens at 7.30am Monday to Friday, closing around 5.30pm; on Saturday 7.30am - 2.00pm; Sunday 8.00am - 2.00pm; and on Public Holidays 8.00am - 1.00pm. Phone: (03) 9592 7340.

Reviews:

'Phillippa's is one of the city's must-visit foodie stores. Pick up a loaf of their excellent bread; the green olive toscano is a favourite. They also have beautiful preserves, chocolate truffles, cakes, tarts, spiced nuts and marshmallows.'
Allan Campion and Michele Curtis, The Foodies' Guide to Melbourne, 2006

'Phillippa's, one of the consistent stars of the artisan scene, send their breads...all over Melbourne and across the state...'

'Phillippa's is firmly established on the Melbourne bakery scene; their all-natural hand made approach to bread making has really struck a chord...They use only real butter, fresh herbs and candy their own orange peel...'
Allan Campion, The Foodies Guide, 2003

'If Phillippa's were bigger we could refer to it as Melbourne's version of Harrods. 'There is no other shop quite like Phillippa's anywhere in Melbourne with its exceptional bread, fine cakes, homemade preserves and other gorgeous goodies.'
Michele Curtis, The Herald Sun, December 30th 2000

'The first serious food store to open in Melbourne since the recession'
Terry Durack, Gourmet Traveller 1994
